UHM Shri Nadda and CM Dr. Yadav Participate in Maa Narmada Maha Aarti

UHM Shri Nadda and CM Dr. Yadav Participate in Maa Narmada Maha Aarti

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav offered the sacred ‘Maa Narmada Maha Aarti’ at Gwarighat on the holy banks of the river Narmada on Monday evening. Smt. Mallika Banerjee, wife of Shri Nadda, also joined the Aarti.

Amid chants of’ Swasti Vachan’, ‘Har Har Narmade’, hymns in praise of Maa Narmada and recitation of verses from the ‘Narmadashtakam’, UHM Shri Nadda and CM Dr. Yadav performed worship rituals in the presence of priests, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the state and the nation. They also performed ‘Dugdhabhishek’ and ‘Deepdaan’ to Maa Narmada.

Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Rajya Sabha Member Smt. Sumitra Valmiki, MP Shri Ashish Dubey, Bhopal Mayor Shri Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu and MLA Shri Hemant Khandelwal also participated in the Maha Aarti.

The Aarti was attended by MLAs Shri Ashok Rohani, Shri Sushil Kumar Tiwari Indu, Dr. Abhilash Pandey, and Shri Neeraj Singh; Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Rikunj Vij; Shri Hitanand Sharma; Shri Ashish Agrawal; Shri Sandeep Jain; former Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Shri Vinod Gontia; former Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities Shri Dipankar Banerjee; along with religious leaders and saints.

At the conclusion of the Narmada Maha Aarti, 14-year-old Tejaswini Dubey administered an oath to the gathering, urging everyone to keep Maa Narmada clean and pollution-free.
