Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai lauded the remarkable achievements of Veena Sahu, a Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and Aditya Singh from Farasgaon in Bastar Division, who secured admission to the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC). Hailing from modest backgrounds, these young individuals have set a striking example of unwavering dedication and passion for serving the nation through the Indian Armed Forces.
Veena Sahu, the daughter of farmer Shri Chetan Sahu from Jamruva village in Balod district, fulfilled her lifelong dream of joining the military through relentless hard work and determination. Aditya Singh, the son of Shri Jayprakash Singh, who runs a general store, realized his father's unfulfilled aspiration of joining the Air Force through his own commitment and perseverance.
Chief Minister Shri Sai personally spoke with Veena Sahu over the phone to congratulate her on her achievement and boost her morale. Veena, currently visiting her family during her leave, was commended by the Chief Minister, who remarked, “Daughters are our pride and the pride of Chhattisgarh. You have glorified the name of Chhattisgarh and set an inspiring example for countless youth in the state.” Veena expressed her gratitude, stating, “Serving as a Nursing Officer allows us to serve those who serve the nation, which is a matter of immense pride for us.”
Chief Minister also reached out to Aditya Singh’s father to congratulate him and extended his best wishes to Aditya for his accomplishments. “Aditya’s success is a moment of immense pride for the entire state. Please rest assured that his education will be fully supported; we will provide all necessary assistance,” said the Chief Minister. He added, “Aditya has elevated the name of Chhattisgarh, and the youth of our state are always ready to serve the nation and contribute to its progress.”
