A female M.Com student from Nutan College, working as a counselor at Fintech Edu Metro Plaza, was molested by her colleague, Satyam Tripathi. Tripathi allegedly called her into his cabin on April 5, 2024, with malicious intent, groped her, and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident.

A female M.Com student from Nutan College, working as a counselor at Fintech Edu Metro Plaza, was molested by her colleague, Satyam Tripathi. Tripathi allegedly called her into his cabin on April 5, 2024, with malicious intent, groped her, and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident.

Intimidation Tactics:

Tripathi reportedly tried to pressure the victim by claiming his uncle, Sunil Tripathi, is a journalist with influential connections. He allegedly showed her a photo of his uncle with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to further intimidate her.

Modus Operandi:

The accused also misused his access to the victim's phone. Under the pretense of work-related instruction, he would take her phone and send messages from it to his own mobile.

Police Action:

The victim filed an FIR against Tripathi under sections 354 (molestation) and 506 (criminal intimidation) at the Habibganj police station. The police visited his residence for arrest, but he is currently absconding.
