Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated an exhibition titled “Vikas Yatra”, based on the state government’s development journey, near Devi Ahilya Udyan at Rajwada, Indore, on Monday evening. The exhibition highlights government schemes and initiatives inspired by the life and governance ideals of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Dr. Yadav viewed the exhibits and appreciated the display.
Several dignitaries were present, including Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, and MLAs Shri Ramesh Mendola, Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Sumit Mishra, and Shri Shravan Chawda.
The exhibition showcases key decisions and their implementation by the Cabinet formed under Dr. Yadav’s leadership since 2023. It highlights central and state welfare schemes such as: Women’s reservation in government services, Ladli Behna Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Vivah/Nikah Sahayata Yojana.
Significant infrastructure initiatives and university projects are also featured, including: Inauguration of Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University in Khargone (₹170 crore), Establishment of Rani Avantibai Lodhi University in Sagar, Tatya Tope University in Guna, Promotions for over 2,000 police personnel, Operation of 369 CM Rise Schools (Sandipani Vidyalayas), and Scholarships for MP students in Sainik Schools across India
Policy initiatives displayed include:Integrated Township Policy 2025, Electric Vehicle Policy 2025, Devi Ahilya Women Empowerment Mission, Decision on liquor prohibition, and Inclusion of solar agricultural pumps under PM Krishak Mitra Suryodaya Yojana.
The exhibition also features heritage and tribal welfare highlights: Inauguration of Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Chhindwara, Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighters Museum in Jabalpur. Agriculture initiatives include: Launch of Rani Durgavati Shri Anna Protsahan Yojana, offering ₹3900 per hectare support and Increase in minimum support price for wheat to ₹2600 per quintal
Additionally, tourism and export initiatives such as: 50% rebate in motor vehicle tax during Vikramotsav Mela 2024 in Ujjain and Launch of Madhya Pradesh Export-2025 policy were also displayed.
This exhibition presents a comprehensive picture of Madhya Pradesh’s governance model, driven by cultural pride, inclusive growth, and administrative efficiency.
