Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed immense joy over the release of nine cheetahs (six females and three males) brought from Botswana at Kuno National Park in Sheopur on Saturday. He said that he wished to personally witness this proud moment but was unable to attend as he was in New Delhi due to ongoing commitments related to the State’s development works and public welfare initiatives.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that ‘Project Cheetah’, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is giving Madhya Pradesh global recognition as the ‘Cheetah State’. He also conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, for successfully releasing the cheetahs at Kuno.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this achievement marks a significant milestone for both the State and the nation in the field of wildlife conservation. He extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the State and the entire team involved in this significant effort.
