Prosperity to Rise in Bundelkhand: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

Bhopal, August 31, 2024: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced on Saturday that the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave in Sagar on September 27, along with the Ken-Betwa River Linking Project, will play a pivotal role in boosting prosperity in the Bundelkhand region. He emphasized that the conclave is not limited to the development of just one district or division but will foster growth in surrounding areas as well, creating new avenues for regional prosperity.

Speaking at the International Bundeli Samagam 2024 held at the Tribal Museum, Dr. Yadav praised the valor and rich history of Bundelkhand. He also honored various talents from the region during the event. The program featured Bollywood actor Mukesh Tiwari delivering dialogues, Sumit Orchha presenting Bundeli Mahima dialogues, and local folk singer Chandrabhan Vasudev captivating the audience with his singing. The Chief Minister announced a reward of ₹31,000 for Chandrabhan Vasudev for his outstanding performance.

Dr. Yadav recalled the bravery of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi and Rani Durgavati, the warrior queen of Bundelkhand and Mahakoshal, who fought and won many battles despite limited resources. He noted that these heroines sacrificed their lives for the nation and became immortalized in history. Dr. Yadav also highlighted the legacy of other warriors from Bundelkhand, such as Maharaja Chhatrasal, who set unique examples of valor in every era. He remarked that the glorious heritage of Bundelkhand, along with the sweetness of the Bundeli language and the fragrance of its cultural traditions, is spreading its charm across the nation and beyond. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to taking every necessary step to enhance the development and prestige of the Bundelkhand region.

International Representatives to Attend Regional Conclave, IT and Textile Sectors to Get a Boost

Dr. Yadav further explained that the Sagar Regional Industry Conclave will attract experts and representatives from various industries and businesses from both India and abroad. He emphasized that this conclave is of national and international significance. The Chief Minister also mentioned that a special incentive policy has been implemented to promote employment for youth and women in the IT and textile sectors. The state government will fully support the continuous operation and expansion of these industrial units, ensuring employment opportunities for youth and women. Additionally, new industrial units will be established in the health, mining, and tourism sectors.

The event was also addressed by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel. Other dignitaries present included Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, Bhopal Municipal Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi, former Minister Mukesh Nayak, actress Pooja Singh (Rinki), and other prominent figures. The program began with Sachin Chaudhary welcoming Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and other guests on behalf of Bundeli Bauchar.
