Bhopal : Saturday, February 10, 2024, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be on visit to Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, 11 February during which he will interect with the tribal community in tribal dominated Jhabua. Prime Minister will reach Gopalpura in Jhabua at 12:20pm. Prime Minister Shri Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation of development projects worth about Rs 7500 crore of road, rail, power and water sectors. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation of ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua. Prime Minister Shri Modi will distribute 1.75 lakh rights records to the beneficiaries of Swamitva Yojana. With this, documentary evidence of land ownership will be available to the people.
Prime Minister Shri Modi will release Rs 55.9 crore for 559 villages under ‘Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana’. The fund will be used for various types of construction activities including Anganwadi buildings, ration shops, health centres, additional rooms in schools and internal roads. Fund will also be used to provide modern facilities to the students like smart classes, e-library etc.
Prime Minister Shri Modi will distribute the monthly installment of the Aahar Anudan Scheme to approximately two lakh women beneficiaries. In this scheme, women of various special backward tribes of Madhya Pradesh are provided Rs 1500 per month for nutritious food.
Prime Minister Shri Modi will lay the foundation of Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University
Prime Minister Shri Modi will lay the foundation of Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University, Khargone. It is a dedicated university, which will provide facilities to the youth of high tribal population districts in the region. This university of cost about Rs 170 crore, will provide world-class infrastructure for the holistic development of students.
Bhoomi Pujan and dedication of Nal Jal projects will be held in Jhabua
Prime Minister Shri Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of several projects, which will strengthen water supply and drinking water management in Madhya Pradesh. The projects whose foundation stone will be laid include 'Talwara Project'. This is a drinking water supply scheme for more than one thousand villages of Dhar and Ratlam. Besides, 14 urban water supply schemes under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 are benefiting more than 50 thousand urban families in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation the Nal-Jal Yojana (Tap Water Scheme) for 50 Gram Panchayats of Jhabua, through which tap water will be provided to about 11 thousand houses.
Will dedicate railway projects to the nation
Prime Minister Shri Modi will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of several railway projects. These also include laying the foundation stone for redevelopment of Ratlam Railway Station and Meghnagar Railway Station. Redevelopment of these stations will be undertaken under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The railway projects dedicated to the nation include the doubling of Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C Cabin Railway line. Apart from this, North-South grade separator along with Itarsi yard remodeling and the third line connecting Barkhera-Budhni-Itarsi have also been included in it. These projects will help in strengthening rail infrastructure and reducing travel time for both passenger and freight trains.
Dedication of road projects
The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation several road development projects costing more than Rs 3275 crore in Madhya Pradesh. These includes four-laning of Harda-Betul (Package-I) for 30 kilometers of NH-47 (Harda-Temgaon); Ujjain Dewas section of NH-752D; four laning of Indore-Gujarat MP border section of NH-47 (16 km) and four laning of Chicholi-Betul (Package-III) Harda-Betul section of NH-47 and Ujjain Jhalawar section of NH-552G. These projects will boost road connectivity and also help in economic development of the region.
Apart from these, Prime Minister Shri Modi will also dedicate and lay the foundation stone of other development initiatives like Waste Dumpsite Treatment Project, 7 Electrical Sub Stations.
