Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is consistently working towards strengthening the nation by upholding the spirit of Swadeshi. In alignment with this vision, Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will attend the Bhoomi- Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) on August 10 in Obaidullaganj, Raisen district near Bhopal. Union Agriculture & Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also attend the event. Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will join virtually.
For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, railway and metro coaches will be manufactured and supplied across the country, as well as exported abroad. With an investment of about Rs. 1,800 crore, the project will create direct and indirect employment for over 1,500 people. This state-of-the-art facility will place Madhya Pradesh prominently on India’s railway manufacturing map.
CM Dr. Yadav shared this while interacting with media representatives at Samatva Bhavan, located at his official residence. Union Agriculture & Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also attend the event. Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will join virtually.

This state-of-the-art facility will firmly establish Madhya Pradesh on the national railway manufacturing map.

Ambitious Railway Project in Raisen District
CM Dr. Yadav informed that 60.0630 hectares of land has been allocated for this ambitious railway project in Umaria village, Goharganj tehsil, Raisen district. Coaches for Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and metro trains will be produced here. The facility will also boost the development of ancillary small industries in Bhopal and Raisen, contributing significantly to the state’s economy and employment generation for youth.
Rakhis for Soldiers: Gratitude through Operation Sindoor
CM DR. Yadav announced that for the fourth consecutive year, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and Tiranga Yatras will be organised across the state on the occasion of Independence Day. The campaign aims to connect youth with patriotism and the spirit of Swadeshi, and also foster national pride among citizens.
This year’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign – 2025 will integrate themes of cleanliness and Swadeshi. From August 2 to 12, programmes focused on the national flag will be conducted across the state, followed by flag hoisting on homes, offices, and vehicles from August 13 to 15.
As part of Operation Sindoor, rakhis will be sent to armed forces personnel to express gratitude for their service. Schools will organise competitions related to the national flag, and there will be cultural programmes and exhibitions. The goal is to involve all sections of society, with a target to distribute 1 crore (10 million) national flags.
Dhar to Become a Global Textile Hub
CM Dr. Yadav stated that the Swadeshi movement will continue to grow in Madhya Pradesh. The state government is progressing toward the development of Bhopal and Indore as future metropolitan cities. The rail coach manufacturing unit near Bhopal and the PM MITRA Textile Park near Dhar will benefit the Indore metropolitan region.
Prime Minister Shri Modi will perform the Bhoomi-Pujan of the PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar on August 25. With an investment of Rs. 2,000 crore in the ready-made garments sector, the project will generate employment for over one lakh youth, especially from tribal regions.
This initiative will not only promote the Swadeshi spirit but also ensure better prices for cotton-producing farmers in Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam and Nimar regions. The garments produced here will also be exported globally.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav recalled that the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal had secured Rs. 30.77 lakh crore in investment proposals, indicating a rise of Madhya Pradesh as a preferred destination for domestic and international industries.
Raksha Bandhan Gift for Ladli Behnas
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, reiterating the state's dedication to women's empowerment, announced that each Ladli Behna will receive a Raksha Bandhan gift of Rs. 250 during the sacred month of Sawan. In total, Rs. 1,500 is being transferred to each beneficiary in August. After Diwali, a monthly payment of Rs. 1,500 will continue under the scheme. He said that the double-engine government, led by PM Modi, will continue delivering new initiatives for development.
Live Telecast of State-Level Independence Day Programmes
CM Dr. Yadav said that a new plan has been prepared for this year’s Independence Day celebrations. The main event in Bhopal will be live telecast across all districts. During the program, massage of Chief Minister will be broadcast to the people of the state. District in-charge ministers will hoist the national flag and inform citizens about various government welfare initiatives. District-level development activities will be presented in a structured manner.
Balaram Jayanti Gifts for Farmers
The Chief Minister announced that a state-level program will be held in Mandla on August 14 to celebrate Lord Balaram Jayanti, during which farmers will be given honorary grants and other benefits under various government schemes.
State-Level Celebration
A state-level celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will take place on August 16. The birth of Lord Shri Krishna will be celebrated across the state with great joy. The government is working on developing all sites associated with Lord Krishna into pilgrimage destinations.
Lord Krishna received his education in Ujjain, was gifted the Sudarshan Chakra by Parshuram at Janapav near Indore and important episodes like Krishna-Rukmini in Amjhera and Krishna-Sudama in Narayana hold special spiritual significance.
Efforts are being made to promote religious tourism at these sites and connect global devotees with Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav concluded, “We aim to grant these locations the same spiritual and cultural stature as Gokul and Vrindavan”.
