MoU signed between M.P. Tourism Board and AKS University, Satna in the presence of CM Dr. Yadav
Approval letter issued for the unit located in Phen Sanctuary, Mandla
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s newsletter ‘Offbeat Madhya Pradesh’ at the Regional Industry Conclave in Rewa. The objective of this newsletter is to provide comprehensive information about tourist destinations in the state and to promote tourism in the state. This newsletter, published every three months, will provide information about the historical, cultural, natural, and religious places of Madhya Pradesh. The newsletter is being published to promote the tourism destinations, policies, events, and contemporary activities of Madhya Pradesh. Stakeholders of the tourism sector from India and abroad, media, and the general public will be able to get information about the achievements and innovations of Madhya Pradesh tourism. The newsletter will also be uploaded on the website of Madhya Pradesh Tourism.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav handed over the letter of award to Ansh Infrastructure and Developers Raipur for the operation of the unit located in Phen Sanctuary, Mandla. It has been entrusted by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation to operate in PPP mode for 30 years. This will develop tourism activities in the area and increase employment at the local level.
An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) and AKS University, Satna in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The objective of this agreement is to promote skill development and employability in the tourism management and hospitality sector in Satna and Rewa region. Both institutions will encourage employment and self-employment opportunities through training, curriculum development, and internships in the field of tourism and hospitality.
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Shri Sheoshekhar Shukla said that many important steps are being taken to promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh. Through the Offbeat Madhya Pradesh newsletter, information about tourist places in the state will be easily available to tourists from India and abroad. The newsletter will focus on all important aspects of tourism in the state, which includes information on tourism policies and innovations including tiger reserves, national parks, heritage sites, religious sites, and traditional villages.
Along with this, the MoU signed with AKS University, Satna is an important step towards regional development, promotion of entrepreneurship, and empowerment of communities, which will create new employment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector of Satna and Rewa.
