Major Administrative Reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh: 10 IAS Officers Transferred

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 10 IAS officers. The transfer list includes several key principal secretaries.

Key Changes:

  • Mohammad Suleman: Transferred from Additional Chief Secretary, Health to Agriculture Production Commissioner.
  • Sanjay Dubey: Removed from the crucial Home Department and posted as Secretary, Science and Technology.
  • S.N. Mishra: Assigned the charge of the Home Department. He will continue to hold additional charge of the Transport Department.
  • D.P. Ahuja: Made Principal Secretary of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare and Public Asset Management Department, along with continuing as Principal Secretary to Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh.
  • K.C. Gupta: Appointed Additional Chief Secretary of Public Works Department.
  • Vivek Porwal: Appointed Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department.
  • Sandeep Yadav: Appointed Principal Secretary of Public Health and Medical Education, and given additional charge of the NRI Department. He will also serve as Commissioner of Food Safety.
  • Dr. Sudam Khade: Appointed Secretary and Commissioner of Public Relations, and also Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Media.
  • Deepali Rastogi: Appointed Principal Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

Additional Charges: Several officers have been given additional charges, including Ashok Varanwal, Sanjay Kumar Shukla, and Sukhvir Singh.

Special:

  • The post of Principal Secretary in the Public Relations Department remains vacant.
  • Nikunj Srivastava, who was an advisor to the World Bank in the USA, has been relieved of his charge of Revenue and Science and Technology departments. He will now only serve as Principal Secretary of the Mineral Resources Department.

This reshuffle is expected to bring fresh perspectives to various departments of the state government.
