Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a video conference on Tuesday with the Commissioner of Gwalior Division, the Inspector General, senior officials, as well as the Collector and SP of Ashok Nagar, to review preparations for the visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi scheduled for 11 April. Dr. Yadav took detailed information regarding the arrangements and directed that all necessary preparations at the venue be completed in a well-organized and dignified manner. Earlier, on 4 April, the Chief Minister had personally visited Shri Anandpur Dham to inspect the arrangements being made for the Prime Minister's visit.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh on 11 April. He will take part in a program organized at Shri Anandpur Dham in Ashok Nagar district. During his visit, the Prime Minister will meet the head of the Shri Paramhans Advaita sect, Guru Maharaj Mahatma Shabd Premanand Ji, along with other saints, and will learn about the various service projects being carried out at the Dham. Around 20,000 devotees are expected to attend the Vaisakhi fair at the Dham.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reviewed the preparations for the upcoming program during the meeting and sought detailed information from the officials. It was informed that all necessary arrangements for the visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have been completed. Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that an annual fair is organized on the occasion of Vaisakhi at Shri Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar, which is one of the prominent religious, spiritual, and service institutions in the country. Thousands of followers from India and abroad participate in this grand event. He said that this year, with the presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the fair will become a truly memorable occasion. Dr. Yadav further emphasized that places like Shri Anandpur Dham are not only centers of deep faith but also serve as important hubs of religious and spiritual tourism. He encouraged public representatives and social workers to visit such places at least once.
Prime Minister Shri Modi will offer flowers at Anand Sarovar
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as per the proposed schedule, on April 11, will offer floral tributes at Anand Sarovar within the premises of Shri Anandpur Dham. He will be briefed about the spiritual, educational, and service-oriented activities taking place at the Dham. During his visit, the Prime Minister will also visit the four temples located within the Shri Anandpur Satsang Ashram campus.
He is scheduled to address the devotees and followers of the Dham from across India and abroad during a stage program held in the grand Satsang Hall, as part of the annual Vaisakhi fair. Following this, the Prime Minister will also partake in the langar and receive prasad.
