Cultural Renaissance Taking Place in MP Under Guidance of PM Shri Narendra Modi: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that a cultural renaissance is taking place in Madhya Pradesh under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today, the world is looking towards India, and under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India is gaining global identity. While preserving art and culture, the state government is continuously moving forward on the path of development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually inaugurated the country’s most prestigious festival of Indian classical music, the “Tansen Music Festival,” on Monday .

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Tansen Music Festival is a remarkable and prestigious event of the state. The melodies and compositions of the music maestro Tansen have given Gwalior a distinct identity across the world. Tansen was a father figure of Indian classical music. Under the guidance of his guru, Swami Haridas ji, Tansen learned the subtleties of music and gave it new dimensions. People would be mesmerized on hearing his renditions. Such was his fame that Emperor Akbar included him among his Navratnas (Nine Gems). Since the Vedic period, classical music has been an integral part of our life and culture, with the Samaveda bearing testimony to this tradition.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary for Culture and Tourism, Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla, highlighted the significance of the Tansen Festival and presented an outline of the event.
