CM Dr. Yadav leads MP to move towards holistic Industrial development
PM MITRA Park Rehabilitation Begins—24 of 89 Families Receive Permanent Houses
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, industrial projects in the state are being advanced not merely as investment initiatives, but as instruments of comprehensive social development. In line with this vision, the rehabilitation of displaced families is being accorded top priority at the country’s first PM MITRA Park, being developed in the Bhainsola village of Dhar district.
For the rehabilitation of a total of 89 families residing on the land earmarked for the PM MITRA Park, the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) is developing a well-planned residential colony in the nearby area. Under the first phase of the rehabilitation plan, permanent houses have been constructed and handed over to 24 families and formal Griha Pravesh were conducted with customary rituals. The remaining families will also be provided housing in a phased manner.
In accordance with the state government’s policy, industrial development is being pursued while ensuring the welfare of every affected family. Accordingly, special emphasis has been laid not only on providing housing to the families affected by the PM MITRA Park, but also on ensuring a better quality of life for them.
89 Permanent Houses, 140 Plots and Complete Basic Infrastructure
The rehabilitation colony being developed for the PM MITRA Park includes a total of 89 permanent 2-BHK houses and 140 developed plots. The colony has been equipped with all essential facilities such as electricity, piped drinking water, roads, drainage, and an STP. In addition, facilities including an Anganwadi centre, a primary school, parks and a community building have also been developed. From a security perspective, the entire campus has been covered with a boundary wall.
Rehabilitation Project Worth ₹13.48 Crore to be completed by April 2026
The entire rehabilitation project is being developed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹13.48 crore. The cost of each house is around ₹6 lakh. The project is expected to be completed by April 2026, after which houses will be handed over to all remaining beneficiaries in a phased manner. The 140 developed plots will be utilised in the future for other rehabilitation requirements.
This balanced model of industrial establishment and rehabilitation at the country’s first PM MITRA Park reflects that, for the state government, social responsibility holds equal importance alongside industrial progress.
