Shah Rukh Khan says 'it'll be my honour to do it,' as Siddharth Anand announces Pathaan 2
Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for the very first time for a press conference that was organised for the success of Pathaan. Seeing a successful run at the box office, the makers held a special press conference where they not only revealed why they didn’t do any promotions but also hinted at the Pathaan sequel. That’s right! At the press con, SRK hinted at Pathaan 2 and we honestly can’t keep calm. Siddharth and Shah Rukh on Pathaan 2: In the press conference, the Fighter director Siddharth Anand said, “Pathaan aayi hai, hit hui hai. Uske baad kya banayege?”, (Pathaan is released and it has become a hit, what happens after that?) fans screamed, “Pathaan 2.” Siddharth replied: “Insha allah.” When asked Shah Rukh about his views on Pathaan 2, the Raees actor further added, “This is a big day for us, my family. We haven't experienced this happiness in a while. Whenever he (Siddharth Anand) wants me to do Pathaan 2, I'll do it. Even if we are playing bad characters, say things in the film, it isn't intended to hurt any sentiment. Fun and entertainment should be left at that— don't take it seriously. We love each other and just want to spread love,” says Shah Rukh Khan. The Zero actor added, “Deepika is Amar, I'm Akbar, John is Anthony. We love you, that's why we make films. Nothing is bigger than this. We have to keep our stories seeped in India. When we tell our stories, we don't deride it. We are just using a language that the young ones speak.” At the event, SRK even spoke about his desire to be an action hero while also thanking Salman Khan for making a special appearance in Pathaan.
