As Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan rules box office, Kartik Aaryan postpones Shehzada by one week

Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The movie is now inching closer to the 300 crore club which will cross by Monday. Speaking about day 5 collections, Pathaan earned Rs 58.50 crores on Sunday, bringing a grand total of Rs 271 crores. On the other hand, the movie has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Given the fact that Pathaan is having a phenomenal run at the box office, Kartik Aaryan reportedly decided to postpone his upcoming movie, Shehzada. Shehzada postponed due to Pathaan: According to the report in TOI, Kartik starrer Shehzada has been postponed by a week. He has decided to postpone the movie out of respect as he has immense respect for Shah Rukh Khan. Producer Aman Gill told TOI, "Yes, we have postponed the film Kartik has immense respect for Shah Rukh and we all love him. Meanwhile, Shehzada is an official remake of the Telugu hit film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala. The film which is slated to release on February 17 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Aman Gill, S Radha Krishna and Kartik Aaryan.
