Posting phony AI pictures of Taylor Swift and Swifties, Trump implies falsely that the musician supports him.
This election cycle, Taylor Swift has not yet endorsed a presidential candidate. However, the former president Donald Trump claims to have accepted the nonexistent support of the superstar.
Trump announced on Truth Social, "I accept!" and included a carousel of (Swift) photos, some of which looked to be artificial intelligence (AI) creations.
Taylor Swift appears as Uncle Sam in one of the AI-manipulated images, along with the words, "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump." Swift followers can be seen sporting "Swifties for Trump" t-shirts in the other pictures.
Satire is included in one of Trump's shared postings. Swift's cancelled planned terrorist attack at her Vienna concerts earlier this month is referenced in a plethora of phony, AI-generated images of "Swifties for Trump" with the phrase, "Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift concert." (The satirical message was confirmed to be such by the original X account that shared it, saying, "LOL @realDonaldTrump shared my post.")
In a statement made available by Wisconsin News Now, Piwowarczyk stated, "I know of so many Swifties who have conservative values and many, many more who have reached out to express their support and appreciation for the 'Swifties for Trump' movement." "I believe the media is wasting an opportunity to acknowledge that, out of all the millions of Taylor Swift followers, there will undoubtedly be many who support Trump and conservative principles and also adore her music by concentrating more on the AI photographs than on the REAL person in the photos that Trump published. We are real. We exist.
