MP Government Working for Development in All Sectors with Participation of All Sections : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Madhya Pradesh government is working for development in all sectors while taking every section of society along. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has accelerated welfare initiatives based on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” In Madhya Pradesh as well, the interests of the common people have been given the highest priority.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the fair organised on the occasion of the Indian New Year by the Mahanagar Mela Utsav Samiti at the Dussehra Ground in Tatya Tope Nagar on Saturday. He said that fairs not only promote social interaction but also provide a marketplace for small traders and consumers. Citizens can find items of daily need in one place, while children and families can also enjoy swings and other entertainment facilities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that while such fairs are usually organised in the capital Bhopal during winter, organising them in the summer season is also significant. He congratulated the organising committee on this initiative. He added that the Indian New Year brings along several festivals and is not merely a change of season, but also marks the arrival of a new harvest and renewed enthusiasm and joy in life.

Promotion of Millets and Indigenous Products Is Necessary

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that fairs should also include arrangements for the sale of indigenous products, which would encourage local goods. He stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has urged the promotion of the production and consumption of Shri Anna (millets). In line with this, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented the Rani Durgavati Shri Anna Promotion Scheme.

Festivals such as Ram Navami, Shri Krishna Janmashtami, and others are being celebrated with active public participation.
