Farmer Conferences to be Held as Part of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Former P M Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has reiterated that the state government is fully committed to the welfare of tribal communities. The implementation of the PESA Act in 2022 brought many developmental benefits to tribal society. Over 5,300 panchayats in the state have increased their participation under the Act. The government is actively working at all levels to ensure that even the poorest families in the 88 tribal-dominated development blocks of Madhya Pradesh experience progress and prosperity. A recruitment drive is underway to fill one lakh government posts for the youth. The contribution of tribal freedom fighters to India’s independence has been included in school and college curricula. The election of Smt. Droupadi Murmu, belonging to a tribal community, as the President of India has sent a strong message worldwide. In Madhya Pradesh, Sandipani Vidyalayas have been established to provide quality education to children across the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared these remarks while addressing the PESA Mahasammelan held in Pali, Umaria district. On the occasion, he performed the Bhoomi-Poojan for four development projects worth Rs.14.71 crore and inaugurated 22 projects worthRs. 39.14 crore.

Statewide Farmers’ Fairs in Honour of Atalji

CM Dr. Yadav announced that in the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the state government will organize modern, farmer-centric fairs across different regions of the state. These events will promote new farming techniques and the distribution of high-yield seeds. The government is also making efforts to establish agro-based industries, increase farmers' incomes, and boost investment and industrial growth. The year 2025 has been declared as the Year of Industry and Employment. A major event dedicated to Atalji will be held in Bhopal from October 12 to 14, with various programs beforehand to provide employment to the poor, farmers, and youth.

Cabinet Meeting Held in Honour of Raja Bhubhut Singh

CM Dr. Yadav stated that the state government held a Cabinet meeting in memory of Raja Bhubhut Singh of Pachmarhi, who led a rebellion against the British during the 1857 uprising. A similar Cabinet meeting had earlier been held in Mahakaushal to honour Queen Durgavati of Gondwana. Stories of her bravery have also been included in the school curriculum to inspire future generations.

Assistance to be Increased for Ladli Behna Yojana

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government is celebrating Raksha Bandhan every month by transferring financial assistance directly into the accounts of 1.27 crore women beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The assistance amount has been increased from ₹1,000 to Rs.1,250 per month and will gradually be raised to Rs.3,000. He noted that in Madhya Pradesh, girls become ‘Lakhpatis’ from birth through the Ladli Laxmi Yojana. The state has launched several women-centric welfare schemes across all sectors.

Support for Farmers and Cattle Rearers

CM Dr. Yadav informed that eligible farmers across the state are receiving Samman Nidhi benefits. Farmers are getting electricity connections at just ₹5, and 32 lakh farmers will receive solar pumps at only 10% of the cost. After meeting their own needs, farmers will also be able to sell surplus electricity back to the government. The Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana has been launched to boost milk production.

Sensitive Governance in Health and Emergency Services

CM Yadav said the government has started the Rahveer Yojana under which anyone helping a road accident victim reach a hospital will receive ₹25,000. Air ambulance services are being provided for better emergency care for the poor. The government has also planned to supply hearse vehicles in hospitals to ensure respectful transportation of deceased persons.

India Strikes Enemies within Their Own Territory

CM Dr. Yadav strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack by Pakistani terrorists on unarmed tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. He said the Indian forces swiftly eliminated the attackers. He emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made it clear that any provocation by Pakistan will be met with heavy retaliation. He stated that India, after the U.S. and Israel, is now the third country capable of striking down its enemies inside their own territory.

Madhya Pradesh Excels in Jal Ganga Samwardhan Abhiyan

CM Dr. Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Madhya Pradesh is actively participating in the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign. Khandwa district ranked first nationally, and the state secured the fourth position overall. He urged the public to make water conservation a part of daily life. He inspected the restoration work of Sagra Talab in Pali, the sacred land of Maa Virasini, and also planted a mango sapling on its bank.

Bhoomi-Pujan for Projects worth Rs. 14.71 Crore, Inauguration of worth Rs. 39.14 Crore

CM Dr. Yadav laid the foundation for four projects worth ₹14.71 crore and inaugurated 22 projects worth ₹39.14 crore. He also distributed benefits under various beneficiary-oriented schemes of different departments.

The event was attended by Shahdol MP Smt. Himadri Singh, Bandhavgarh MLA Shri Shiv Narayan Singh, former MP Shri Gyan Singh, public representatives, and a large number of citizens from the tribal community.
