Courtyard by Marriott brings taste of Rajasthan to the City of Bhopal

Bhopal, Rajasthani Food Festival will showcase traditional and authentic Rajasthani delights from the Royal Kitchens of Rajasthan only at MoMo Café from 26th April onwards. The festival will bring in the rich culture and heritage with authentic flavours and aromas like Govind Gattas, Doodh ke Samose, Lahsoon ki Kheer, Sooley, Bikaneri Bhujia, Mirchi Bada, Pyaaj Kachori, Kalmi Vadey, Pappad Paneer, Tripolia Subzi, Kadhi and Bajrey ki roti besides hosts of sumptuous starters, main course and sweet dishes. Courtyard by Marriott will host this festival for duration of 10 days between 7.30 pm to 11 pm from 26th April onwards.

Rakesh Upadhyay, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal quoted “The State of Rajasthan is rich in its culture and heritage. It is our endeavor to bring the authentic flavours to Bhopal with popular Rajasthani dishes that will bring to the table royal flavours from the land of Maharajas. The sweet, sour and spicy flavours of Rajasthani cuisines reflects an amalgamation of rich culture, tradition and lifestyle of Rajputs, Vaishnavs and Marwaris. The state is dominant with mostly vegetarian food with signature Rajasthani dishes like Dal-Baati-Churma, Ker Sangri and Bikaneri Bhujia has garnered both national and international popularity among foodies”.  Although we will also keep the non-vegetarian preference of guests and bring to the table popular dishes like Laal Maas or even Jodhpuri Murgh.

Executive Chef Amol Patil from Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal, informed that Chef Poonam Sharma and Chef Nerpat Singh Rajpurohit have been invited from Rajasthan.  “We will be serving sumptuous Rajasthani starters like Jodhpuri Paneer Ke Sule, Bajra Pudina  ki  Tikki, Shekhawati Dal Pakodi, Sangri Ke Kebab, Bikaneri Tawa Macchi and Mathania Murgh Tikka. Delicious soup Bajre ki raab would be on offer as you begin the meal. The main course would include most loved Rajasthani food items like Laal Maans, Jodhpuri Murgh, Chakki Ki Subzi, Govind Gatta Curry, Ker Sangri, and Mangodi Matter ka Pulao. There will also be live counters where one can indulge in snacks like Mirchi Vada Chaat, Kadhi Kachori and Dal Bati Churma. While relishing the main course, one can also sip on some tangy Jal-Jeera, or cool in the summer with Chanchh and other welcome drinks.

The meal will end with popular desserts like Ghewer, Mawa Kachori, Churma, Malpua, Misri Mawa Malpua, Badam Halwa, Kulfi, Chusky, Gulab Jamun and Ghewar with Rabdi.
