Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with journalists at Kushabhau International Convention Center on the achievements of the state government in one year.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh, known as the "Heart of the Country," is famous for its forests, water, food, minerals, art, culture, and traditions. Our state, the land of countless martyrs and great personalities, is historically, culturally, spiritually, and religiously prosperous. Today, Madhya Pradesh is touching new heights of development while preserving its cultural grandeur. Under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s "Developed India," the state is working on four key pillars based on GYAN (Empowerment of the Poor, Youth, Farmers, and Women).

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised that innovative initiatives for industrial development are underway in the state. Through Regional Industry Conclaves and Road Shows, industrial development is being strengthened in all areas. The state's dedicated efforts have led to new investment proposals, strengthening the industrial landscape and opening doors to new employment opportunities.

As part of the cultural renaissance, efforts like the restoration of the Shri Ram Van Gaman Path, the Shri Krishna Path, and the establishment of Vikram Samvat are revitalizing our historical heritage. This is a time of economic, social, and cultural progress. With the cooperation and resolve of Madhya Pradesh's eight and a half crore people, we are determined to build a self-reliant state and play a significant role in the creation of a Developed India.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also mentioned that it is a matter of pride that Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Ken-Betwa Link National Project in Chhatarpur on 25th December. Additionally, the Prime Minister will visit Bhopal in February 2025 for the Global Investors Summit. The Chief Minister shared the state's achievements and development over the past year with media representatives in Bhopal.

Chief Minister’s Jan Kalyan Campaign and Jan Kalyan Festival

From 11th December, the Chief Minister’s Jan Kalyan Campaign and the Jan Kalyan Festival marking the completion of one year of the state government have commenced.

Chief Minister’s Jan Kalyan Campaign - This campaign will benefit citizens who have been deprived of welfare schemes and resolve public issues through on-site camps. Under this campaign, 63 services from various departments, including 34 identified beneficiary-oriented schemes and 11 goal-based schemes, will be provided to the public through camps.

Jan Kalyan Festival -This will include the inauguration of various departmental activities, development works, and land worship, with a focus on public welfare. Public participation will be ensured in these programs.

Welfare for the Poor:

  •  Payment of pending dues of Rs. 224 crore to 4,800 worker families of Hukumchand Mill in Indore.

  •  Registration of more than 1.73 crore workers under Sambal 2.0, with over Rs. 895 crore transferred to more than 40,000 families.

  •  Monthly transfer of more than Rs 3,000 crore to 55 lakh beneficiaries under Social Security Pension Schemes.

  •  Over 36 lakh rural families and 8 lakh urban families realized their dream of owning a house under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural and Urban).

  •  Madhya Pradesh became the first state to distribute land rights documents to 24 lakh people under the Swamitva Scheme.

  •  Under Vocal for Local, artisans and small business owners were exempt from taxes during the period from Dhanteras to Devuthani Gyaras.

  •  Over 11 lakh beneficiaries received loans ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 50,000 under the PM Swanidhi Scheme.

Welfare for Farmers:

  •  Establishment of PM Kisan Samriddhi Centers in every Gram Panchayat.

  •  Under Rani Durgavati Shri Ann Protsahan Yojana, farmers will be given additional assistance of Rs. 1,000 per quintal, up to Rs. 3,900 per hectare.

  •  Rs. 125 per quintal bonus on wheat procured at support price.

  •  Decision to procure soybeans at Rs. 4,892 per quintal.

  •  Rs. 6,000 per year being directly transferred to farmers under the Chief Minister’s Kisan Kalyan Samman Nidhi.

  •  Implementation of the Digital Crop Scheme for accurate crop assessments.

  •  Over 80 lakh pending cases were resolved in two phases of the Revenue Mahabhiyan.

Welfare for Youth:

  •  Vice-Chancellors of state universities will now be known as "Chancellors."

  •  Record 7 lakh youth were provided Rs. 5,000 crore in self-employment loans on State Employment Day.

  •  Recruitment for approximately 1 lakh posts in various state departments is underway, with a target of providing 2.5 lakh government jobs in the next 5 years.

  •  55 district-level PM Colleges of Excellence were started to ensure quality higher education.

  •  The system to upload mark sheets and degrees to the DG Locker in universities was implemented.

Women Empowerment:

  •  35% reservation for women in government services.

  •  Over Rs. 19,212 crore has been transferred to 1.29 crore women under the Ladli Behna Yojana since January 2024. Additionally, Rs. 250 extra was given as a token amount on Raksha Bandhan.

  •  Rs. 715 crore has been transferred to 26 lakh Ladli sisters for gas cylinder refills at Rs. 450 each.

  •  More than 1 lakh women became financially independent under the "Didis" program.

  •  850 MSME units were provided Rs. 275 crore to promote women entrepreneurs.

  •  Rs. 57 crore was transferred under the Sanitation and Hygiene Scheme to benefit more than 19 lakh girls.

  •  Rs. 325 crore has been transferred to tribal women under the Food Assistance Scheme.

Industry and Employment to Boost State's Future

  •  2025 has been declared as the year of industry and employment.

  •  Madhya Pradesh has secured investment proposals worth Rs. 4 lakh crore, which will create more than 3 lakh jobs.

  •  Investments of Rs. 2.07 lakh crore were received from six Regional Industry Conclaves, and more than Rs. 1 lakh crore from road shows in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Kolkata. Additionally, investment proposals of Rs. 78,000 crore came from the UK and Germany.

  •  Investment Promotion Centers have been established in every district.

Cultural Renaissance in State

  •  The Shri Krishna Pathey, connecting all places related to the leelas of Lord Krishna, will be established.

  •  The world's first "Vikramaditya Vedic Clock" was launched during Vikramotsav.

  •  The decision to construct a 1450 km long Shri Ram Van Gaman Path was taken.

  •  Every urban body will have a Gita Bhavan constructed.

  •  The International Gita Mahotsav was celebrated on Gita Jayanti.

  •  All festivals were celebrated together with the community.

  •  The inclusion of Vikram Samvat in the official calendar has been initiated.

Good Governance Commitment

  •  The online resolution of revenue cases like name changes and partition through Cyber Tehsil has begun.

  •  Property registration and e-stamping through the "Sampada 2.0" scheme have been started.

  •  The limits of police stations have been redefined.

  •  A separate administrative reorganization commission has been formed for the redefinition of district, sub-division, and tehsil limits.

  •  The decision was made to remove the BRTS corridor in Bhopal.

  •  The sale of meat in open spaces and the uncontrolled use of loudspeakers have been banned.

Modern Healthcare for All

  •  The merger of the Medical Education and Public Health & Family Welfare Departments has improved governance and efficiency.

  •  30 medical colleges are operational, and 12 more government colleges will be opened under the PPP model.

  •  Ujjain is the first city in the state to have a Medical City and a government medical college.

  •  The PM Shri Air Ambulance service has been initiated to airlift critically ill or accident victims from remote areas.

  •  Over 4 crore Ayushman cards have been distributed under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, making Madhya Pradesh a leader in the country.

Cow Conservation and Promotion

  •  2024 has been declared the Year of Cow Protection.

  •  An MOU has been signed between the state government and the National Dairy Development Board to increase milk production.

  •  The government has decided to provide grants for maintaining more than 10 cows.

Tiger Reserves Rising

  •  Madhya Pradesh is now the Leopard State with 3,907 leopards, the highest in the country.

  •  Bhopal’s Ratapani is the state’s eighth tiger reserve.

  •  Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan will jointly develop the country’s largest Cheetah Corridor.

  •  The Madhav National Park will soon be declared a tiger reserve.

Law and Order

  •  The use of e-technology for the service of warrants and summons will be introduced, making Madhya Pradesh the first state in the country to do so.

  •  A Tribal Battalion will be formed to provide training for youth from the most backward tribes for recruitment in the army, paramilitary forces, and police services.

  •  A Sports quota has been introduced in the police department, with 10 sub-inspectors and 50 constables to be recruited annually.

Irrigation Expansion

  •  Approval has been given for the Chitrangi Dabiyut Micro Irrigation Project in Singrauli district, with an irrigation area of 32,125 hectares.

  •  The Javad-Nimach Micro Irrigation Project has been approved with an investment of Rs. 4,197.58 crore.

Spiritual City - Avantika Singhasth Mela Area Urban Development Plan

  •  Ujjain will be developed as a Global Spiritual City.

  •  In the Simhastha 2028, permanent infrastructure will be constructed in the entire fair area through the Ujjain Development Authority under the Land Pooling Scheme.

  •  During the Simhastha Fair, the requirements of Akharas, Ashrams, and devotees will be met through the construction of permanent structures.

  •  A permanent religious town and Ashrams will be built in Ujjain for saints and sages, similar to Haridwar.

  •  To fulfill the resolution of Mother Kshipra purification, work has begun on the Kanha Closed Duct Project, costing Rs. 599 crores. During Simhastha, devotees will bathe in the waters of the Kshipra river.

  •  Large-scale construction of ghats on both sides of the Kshipra river and road projects around the city has begun to facilitate the devotees coming to Ujjain for darshan.

Tourism to New Heights

  •  PM Shri Tourism Air Service launched. The service between Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Rewa, Singrauli, Ujjain, and Khajuraho has begun.

  •  The country's first Craft Handloom Tourism Village has been inaugurated in Pranpur village, Chanderi, Ashoknagar, with an investment of more than Rs. 7 crores. Additionally, home-stays are being promoted in the state.

  •  The tourism sector has presented an example of women empowerment. In Pachmarhi's Amaltas Hotel, the entire staff, from chefs to greeters, is managed and operated by women.

  •  Work has begun on the "Kanha Closed-Duct" project at Rs. 599 crore to clean the Kshipra River for the 2028 Simhastha Mela.

  •  The urban development plan for the Avantika Singhastha Mela area has been approved.

Infrastructure Development

  •  The Indore-Manmad Railway Line Project has been approved with an investment of Rs. 18,036 crore. The 309 km long rail line will have 30 new railway stations, benefiting the tribal-dominated and aspirational districts of the state, including Badwani, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Indore, and neighboring districts.

  •  The Government of India has sanctioned Rs. 3,500 crore for the construction and strengthening of national highways in the state.

  •  Under the Chief Minister's Rural Road Scheme, 8,565 villages have been connected to all-weather roads with a total length of 19,378 km.

  •  Metro Rail Projects are under construction in Bhopal and Indore with an estimated cost of Rs. 14,440 crore.

  •  A significant development for the Vindhya region: The inauguration of Madhya Pradesh's sixth airport, Rewa Airport.

  •  The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport in Gwalior, the largest airport in Madhya Pradesh, was inaugurated, which was completed in the shortest time in the country.

Madhya Pradesh continues to lead in the implementation of several central government schemes

PM Swanidhi Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, PMAY, Agricultural Infrastructure Fund, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Svamitva Scheme, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Matsya Credit Card Scheme, National Animal Disease Control Programme, PM Adarsh Gram Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission, and Swachh Bharat Mission.

Roadmap for Madhya Pradesh

To fulfill the dreams of a developed India and a developed Madhya Pradesh, we have prepared a roadmap. Here are some of the key decisions:

  •  Doubling the Economy: The state’s economy will be doubled.

  •  Solar Energy for Farmers: 125,000 farmers with temporary electric connections will be provided with solar-powered pumps. Over the next four years, farmers will become self-reliant in power supply through solar energy pumps.

  •  Diversification of Agricultural Crops: Initiatives will be taken to diversify agricultural crops, encouraging farmers to grow high-value crops, thereby increasing their income.

  •  Doubling Irrigated Area: Currently, the state has 5 million hectares of irrigated area. In the next five years, it will be doubled to 10 million hectares.

  •  Public-Private Partnership in Medical Colleges: There are 17 government medical colleges and 13 private medical colleges. Under the PPP model, 12 more government medical colleges and 8 private medical colleges will be established.

  •  Expansion of Dairy Cooperatives: Dairy cooperatives will be expanded across the state. Currently, primary dairy cooperatives exist in 8,500 villages. Within a year, 15,000 villages will have dairy cooperatives, and all villages in the state will be covered in 4 years.

  •  Self-Help Groups (SHGs) as a Mass Movement: Women self-help groups will be turned into a mass movement. Currently, 2.5 million women are involved in SHGs. This number will increase to 5 million in the next four years.

  •  Transport Facilities for Passengers: A state-wide transport company will be established to operate buses for the convenience of passengers.

  •  Employment and Self-Employment for Youth: The year 2025 will be celebrated as the Industry and Employment Year, with a large-scale effort to connect youth with government jobs and self-employment. One lakh government jobs will be created.

  •  Formation of Metropolitan Areas: Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Dhar will be part of one metropolitan area, and Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, and Byawara will form another metropolitan area.

  •  Regional Reorganization: There will be a reorganization of districts, development blocks, tehsils, and subdivisions.

  •  Regional Economic Growth Centres: All divisional headquarters, including Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Shahdol, etc., will be developed as regional economic growth hubs in line with the Government of India’s vision.

  •  Urban Development Acceleration: To accelerate balanced urban development, policies like Redensification, Redevelopment, and Integrated Township will be formulated, with private participation encouraged.

  •  PMAY (Urban) 2.0: Under PMAY Urban 2.0, housing will be provided to urban poor families who missed out in the first phase of the scheme.

  •  Urban Projects on Vacant Mill Land: Urban projects will be launched on vacant mill lands such as Hukumchand, Shri, Vinod Mills, and other government lands in cities.

  •  Pilgrimage Path Developments: Development of pilgrimage routes like Shri Ram Van Path Gaman and Shri Krishna Pathy.

  •  Ongoing Developments: Projects like Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, Sant Ravidas Lok in Sagar, Maa Narmada Mahalok in Amarkantak, and others in Khargone, Bhopal, Neemuch, and Datia will be completed.

  •  Subsidy for Livestock Owners: Subsidies will be provided for maintaining dairy cattle, and bonuses will be given for milk production.

  •  Development of Ujjain: Ujjain will be developed on the lines of Haridwar.

  •  Narmada River Purification: A plan will be implemented to ensure the Narmada River remains clean and flowing with pure water.

  •  River-Linking Projects: River-linking projects like Kanha-Gambhir will be approved.

  •  Operation of Cow Shelters: All cow shelters in the state will be run efficiently.

  •  Water Conservation & Welfare Campaigns: Water conservation and welfare campaigns will be organized annually.

  •  Naxal-Free State: Efforts will be made to make the state Naxal-free.

  •  Development of All Sections: Four missions (Youth, Women, Farmers, and Welfare of the Poor) will start from 26th January.

  •  Increase in Electricity Production: The current total electricity capacity of the state is 23,030 MW. The goal is to increase it to 31,000 MW in the next five years.

Fulfillment of the Resolution Document

The government is working rapidly and systematically to fulfill the resolutions laid out in the Resolution Document for the progress and prosperity of the state. Out of the 456 resolutions for the development of the state and public welfare, 45 have been completed within the first year, and work is progressing rapidly on 268 resolutions. In the next four years, all resolutions will be fulfilled.
