After the fourth and final phase of voting in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, the Election Commission has released the voting figures on all the seats on Tuesday. According to the Commission, 66.87% voting took place on 29 seats in the state. Last time there was 71.16% voting in the state. According to this, this time voting has decreased by 4.29%. In the state, 67.75% voting took place on 6 seats in the first phase, 58.59% on 6 seats in the second phase, 66.75% on 9 seats in the third phase and 72.05% on 8 seats in the fourth phase. More than 70 percent voting took place in three seats of the first phase, Mandla (72.84), Balaghat (73.45) and Chhindwara (79.83). Among these, Nakul Nath, son of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, was the candidate for Chhindwara seat. Here Kamal Nath had taken command of the elections in his hands. At the same time, the entire BJP was busy cornering Kamal Nath in his stronghold. At the same time, in six seats of the second phase, there was not more than 70 percent voting in any phase. In this, BJP State President VD Sharma was the candidate for Khajuraho seat, but there was no strong contender in front of him. Here the nomination of the Indi alliance candidate was cancelled.
At the same time, in the third phase, out of nine seats, more than 70 percent voting took place in four seats namely Guna (72.43), Rajgarh (76.04), Vidisha (74.48) and Betul (73.53). Here, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia contested on Guna seat, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Vidisha seat and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh contested on Rajgarh seat. Both the parties made full efforts to conduct voting on the seats of high profile leaders. Apart from this, out of the eight seats in the fourth phase, except Indore, more than 70 percent voting took place in all the seats. The election in Indore had become one-sided after the Congress candidate withdrew his nomination. Counting of votes on all seats will take place on June 4. Let us tell you that in 2019, out of 29 seats in the state, 28 seats were won by BJP and one Chhindwara seat was won by Congress.
