Mystery Surrounds Demise of Businessman Sunjay Kapur

London, UK – The sudden death of Sunjay Kapur, ex-husband of actress Karisma Kapoor and a prominent businessman, last month in England has taken a suspicious turn. Initially reported as a heart attack at age 53 while playing polo, new information and statements from his mother are raising questions about the true circumstances of his passing.

Recent reports suggested Kapur may have accidentally swallowed a bee during the polo match, leading to the heart attack. While uncommon, medical experts confirm that a bee sting can indeed be life-threatening. Dr. Farah Husain, a senior anaesthesiologist and intensivist in New Delhi, stated that a bee sting can, in some cases, be fatal.

However, Kapur's mother has come forward with shocking revelations, asserting that her son's death was "highly suspicious and unexplained." In a written statement, she reportedly claimed: "On June 12, my son Mr. Sunjay Kapur tragically passed away under highly suspicious and unexplained circumstances in the United Kingdom. Despite all attempts, I am not able to receive answers about my son’s death."

She further expressed frustration over the lack of transparency, stating, "Despite me seeking information, I have been unable to receive any relevant answers and documents explaining the incident and have been confined to the knowledge and version set out by the media."

Adding to the gravity of her concerns, Kapur's mother also hinted at internal family disputes, alleging, "While we’re in mourning, some people [are] trying to usurp family legacy." She concluded with a desperate plea: "I have been left to the mercy of a select few for survival. All this, in less than a month of my only son passing."

At the time of his death, Sunjay Kapur was married to entrepreneur and former model Priya Sachdev. He is survived by his wife, Priya, and three children. The unfolding developments suggest a complex and potentially contentious situation surrounding his untimely demise.
