Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that “Our industries and factories are like temples, as they alleviate people’s hardships.” He emphasised that an extensive industrial network is rapidly expanding in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring that youth no longer need to migrate for jobs. With the launch of new industries, the state will experience swift prosperity. To encourage youth towards employment-oriented industries, the state will also provide an incentive of Rs. 5,000. “We will make Madhya Pradesh an industrially and employment-rich state and soon it will become the number one state in the country,” he affirmed.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomi-Pujan for six new industrial units worth Rs. 416 crore in the Acharpura Industrial Area near Bhopal on Thursday.
He announced the development of Acharpura as a special industrial hub and laid the foundation for Acharpura Industrial Area Extension Phase-3 (Village Hajjampur) to be developed over 31.21 hectares.
The Chief Minister noted that renowned global industrialists are now coming to Madhya Pradesh to set up ventures. At the Acharpura event, he appreciated the presence of entrepreneurs from all generations – from Shri Prabhat Singh of Gokaldas Exports Pvt. Ltd. to young leaders like Shri Aditya Sharma of Sinai Healthcare and Rs. Raunak Chaudhary of Acedes Pvt. Ltd. He said, “Acharpura has transformed. It’s the monsoon season and industries are showering here like rain.” He credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership for creating a favorable environment for industrial and commercial growth across India. He said "In Madhya Pradesh, there’s no age limit to start a business – doors are open for everyone".
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted that jackets made in Acharpura are being exported to the U.S. and other countries showcasing the talent and potential of Madhya Pradesh. “Even a country like China is selling our cotton. He quality of Madhya Pradesh cotton is world-renowned”.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reiterated that factories are "temples of hard work," solving people's problems through a combination of entrepreneurial investment and youth effort. The state has organized Road-Shows in various Indian cities and abroad (UK, Dubai, Spain, Germany, Japan) to attract investment and the result is visible in today’s groundbreaking events and land allotment letters to investors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also mentioned that in 2014 India ranked 15th in the world economy but now it is moving toward third place. “Twenty years ago, Madhya Pradesh’s per capita income was Rs. 11,000 – today it has reached Rs. 1.52 lakh.” Irrigation capacity has risen to 55 lakh hectares with plans to increase it to 100 lakh hectares.
The Chief Minister further stated that all eligible Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries will receive Rs. 1,500 per month after Diwali and the amount will gradually increase to Rs. 3,000 by 2028. During the Sawan festival a special auspicious amount will also be given to sisters.
He announced that within a week a police outpost will start functioning in Acharpura and instructed the Inspector General of Police present to deploy female officers there.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the Gokaldas Garment Unit in Acharpura, interacting with women workers and boosting their morale.
Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap – MSME & District In-charge Minister. He praised CM Dr. Yadav’s leadership for bringing about transformation and generating employment. Acharpura Industrial Area is reaching new heights, with around 2,500 women working efficiently at Gokaldas Exports Pvt. Ltd. Young industrialists are now establishing their businesses in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav recently returned from official visits to Dubai and Spain, continuously engaging with industrialists to boost Madhya Pradesh’s global image.
MLA Bairasia Shri Vishnu Khatri credited the Chief Minister’s tireless efforts for turning Acharpura and nearby areas into active hubs of industrial activity. Under the MSME sector, an industrial development plan is being implemented over 280 hectares, ensuring that every household in Berasia gets connected to industrial growth in some form.
The state now reflects a holistic development model combining agriculture, industry and employment. New industrial policies are being crafted based on investor needs, and continuous encouragement is being provided.
Principal Secretary (Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion) and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh said that Acharpura Industrial Area has now become an active and ideal industrial hub of the state. He said that presence of more than 100 industrial units and direct employment of more than 4000 is proof of its developing nature. The new industrial park to be developed at a cost of Rs. 15.61 crore in Village Hajjampura Phase-3 will encourage multi-sector units in this area.
Shri Prabhat Singh – Director, Gokaldas Exports Pvt. Ltd. said, “The company runs 36 units across India, including one in Kenya. Currently 2,500 women are employed at their unit in Acharpura, and a second unit will soon be launched generating jobs for another 2,500 women. He cited Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly atmosphere, robust industrial ecosystem and supportive government policies as key motivators.
He aims to make Acharpura a model for women’s empowerment and industrial production
Shri Aditya Sharma – Director, Sinai Healthcare praised the speed and transparency of the single-window clearance system and thanked the Chief Minister and his team. His company will invest Rs.120 crore to set up a unit in Acharpura with plans to export products not only across India but also to international markets.
Shri Raunak Chaudhary – Director, Acedes Pvt. Ltd. informed that originally registered in Gurugram, his company chose Acharpura Industrial Area in Bhopal after evaluating options across India. Its central location proximity to Raja Bhoj Airport and good road connectivity make it an ideal industrial zone. He expressed gratitude for the facilities provided to entrepreneurs by the government.
