T.B. is a curable disease - Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi resolved in 2018 to make India TB-free. Joining hands with the Prime Minister’s campaign to save lives, the nation is progressing steadily toward this goal. As part of this effort, the 100-day Nikshay Shivir campaign is being conducted across 347 districts nationwide, including 23 districts in Madhya Pradesh. These districts are Alirajpur, Anuppur, Betul, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Damoh, Datia, Dindori, Jabalpur, Katni, Khandwa, Mandla, Mandsaur, Narsinghpur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Sehore, Seoni, Sheopur, Sidhi, Singrauli, Ujjain, and Vidisha.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed confidence that with collective effort and active participation, no affected individual will be left without proper diagnosis and treatment. He emphasized that tuberculosis (T.B) is a treatable disease and there is no need for fear. The Chief Minister urged everyone to actively engage in this campaign to ensure its success.

If someone around us is suffering from T.B., it is our responsibility to involve them in this campaign. Launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to save lives, this campaign makes every individual in the state a participant in this collective effort. We must come together to fight against T.B. and support those affected. With united efforts, the nation will soon achieve freedom from T.B., fulfilling the vision and resolve of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
