Cooperation in Transport and Infrastructure
Dr. Yadav's first meeting was with East Japan Railway Company and the Chairman of Keidanren's South Asia Committee, Mr. Yuji Fukasawa. The meeting took place at the Imperial Hotel's conference hall in Tokyo, where discussions centered on technical cooperation and investment opportunities in the railway and transport sectors.
Exploring Trade Opportunities with JETRO
The Chief Minister also met with Mr. Susumu Katakoka, Chairman of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), at JETRO's headquarters in the Ark Mori Building, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The talks aimed at identifying opportunities for trade and industrial development in Madhya Pradesh and strengthening trade relations with Japan.
Collaboration in the Food and Beverage Industry
Dr. Yadav met with Mr. Takayuki Sanno, President of Suntory India, at the Imperial Hotel. The discussions focused on investment and collaboration in the food and beverage industry.
Investment in Automobile and Tire Industries
In the afternoon, the Chief Minister visited the Bridgestone headquarters in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and held talks with Bridgestone officials. The meeting explored opportunities for technical partnerships and investments in the automobile and tire industries.
Strategic Talks with JICA
Dr. Yadav also met with Mr. Shohei Hara, Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The discussions revolved around potential collaborations in water management, smart city projects, and infrastructure development.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister met with Mr. Tadashi Yanai, Chairman and CEO of Fast Retailing. The talks focused on developing Madhya Pradesh as a major hub for the textile and retail industries.

Dr. Yadav also held a meeting with Mr. Toshiyuki Shirai, President of Nitori Holdings, at the Imperial Hotel's conference hall. The discussions explored new opportunities for collaboration in the furniture and home decor industry.

In the evening, the Chief Minister attended an interactive session with the Indian diaspora and friends of Madhya Pradesh at the Hikari Hall of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.
