PM Modi to visit Bhutan next week on invitation of King, March 21-22 likely dates
Bhutanese PM Dasho Tshering Tobgay, on behalf of the King of Bhutan, extended invitation to PM Modi to visit Bhutan next week
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a visit to Bhutan next week.
The Indian Prime Minister is likely to be in Bhutan on March 21 and 22, on invitation of Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
The Bhutan’s King invitation to PM Modi was extended on Tuesday (March 14) by Bhutanese Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay who is on a visit to India, his first overseas visit after assuming office in February 2024.
PM Modi and PM Tobgay met in New Delhi on Tuesday. Both the leaders reviewed the progress in various areas of bilateral partnership, including infrastructure development, connectivity, energy, hydropower cooperation, people to people exchanges and development cooperation.
