Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Kaalidhar Laapata has been making waves due to its beautiful trailer. While the subtle yet impactful emotions left the cinegoers excited, let’s find out whether the movie lives up to the expectations or not…
The plot starts with the 42-year-old Kaalidhar ( Abhishek Bachchan) getting some hallucinations in the middle of the road while his two younger brothers, Manohar (Vishwanath Chatterjee) and Sundar (Priyank Tiwari), take him to a local government hospital, where they discover that he is suffering from dementia.
With debt issues because of his treatment, Manohar’s wife Neetu (Madhulika Jatoliya) suggests two brothers to kill Kaalidhar in the hospital with the help of the compounder. While they took Kaalidhar’s thumb impression on property papers before killing him, they didn’t succeed in executing their plan. After a failed attempt, the compounder suggests they go to the Kumbh Mela and leave Kaalidhar there and says that since he is suffering from dementia, he won’t be able to come back.
