Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that farmers will receive relief funds as per the provisions for crop damage caused by natural disasters. He noted that weather patterns have shifted not only in the state but across the country. The government remains sensitive to the needs of farmers and is committed to standing by them in times of crisis.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government provides farmers with the flexibility to sell their crops through any medium. He said that a decision will soon be made to offer per-hectare financial assistance or bonuses to small farmers whose crops are not procured and who sell their produce independently. This initiative aims to support financially weaker farmers and those with limited resources. Dr. Yadav also emphasized that necessary instructions have been issued at the district level to address crop losses caused by hailstorms, frost, and other adverse weather conditions. He appealed to farmers to take all necessary precautions to safeguard themselves and their crops during unfavorable weather. Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of ensuring safety by prohibiting open tube wells in both rural and urban areas. He directed that any cases of open tube wells should be immediately reported to the local police station, and legal action will be taken against those found negligent.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has also urged the citizens of the state to take precautions to protect themselves from untimely rains, cold etc.
