Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today gave a big gift to the youth preparing for competitive examinations in Indore. He dedicated the Mukhyamantri Pariksharthi Suvidha Kendra, a library equipped with state-of-the-art facilities established in Holkar Science College under the innovative initiative of the Indore District Administration. As many as 400 students will be able to prepare for competitive examinations every day in this Kendra. The library will have all the facilities at par with private libraries.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with the youth and listened to their experiences. He encouraged and congratulated them for a bright future. On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, MLA Shri Manoj Patel, Shri Madhu Verma and Shri Golu Shukla, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, Police Commissioner Shri Rakesh Gupta, Collector Shri Ashish Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Shivam Verma, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Shri Siddharth Jain and other officials were present.
On this occasion, it was told that the Mukhyamantri Pariksharthi Suvidha Kendra is a unique innovation of the district administration. Here, the youth will get the benefit of a modern library with all facilities at a nominal fee. At present there is immense competition in competitive examinations. In expensive coaching institutes, resourceful youth manage to get resources to prepare for competitive exams whereas talented youth from ordinary backgrounds look for appropriate study material and the latest reading material from the internet. By providing good resources, youth from ordinary families should also get an opportunity to direct the flight of their careers. With this in mind, the Mukhyamantri Pariksharthi Suvidha Kendra was created in the form of a modern library for the students in the local Holkar College under the guidance of Collector Shri Ashish Singh. The Kendra will provide facilities similar to a luxury private library. Comfortable furniture has been arranged for seating. The Kendra has good speed internet WiFi facility for the youth preparing for competitive exams, as a result of which the youth will have access to online reading content. It will run in two sessions at the center from 6 am to 2 pm and from 2 pm to 10 pm. Students joining the said center will be given a 10 percent discount on using the canteen by the Indian Coffee House located on the college campus. There will also be a water cooler facility with an RO filter for clean soft drinking water at the centre.
CEO Shri Siddharth Jain said that study material for the national level competitive examination in Hindi and English medium and major newspapers and magazines will also be available at the said centre.
