‘Can't break my spirits’: Manish Sisodia's swipe at BJP in latest tweet from jail
Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, arrested for his alleged involvement in the Delhi liquor scam, has taken a swipe at the BJP in his latest tweet from jail. The senior AAP leader, in an apparent veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Sir, you can trouble me by putting me in jail. But can't break my spirits." The arrested AAP leader also recalled the days when Indian freedom fighters were troubled by the British, comparing his present situation with India's independence struggle, adding that they (freedom fighters) remained determined despite difficulties. Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after nearly eight hours of questioning in the Delhi liquor policy case. Manish Sisodia was arrested under Section 120 b (criminal conspiracy), 477 A (intent to defraud) of the Indian Penal Code and section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
