After Air India, bomb scare in 2 IndiGo flights, Mumbai-Howrah mail gets threat of timer bomb onboard
On Monday, a Mumbai-New York Air India flight, IndiGo Mumbai-Jeddah and Mumbai-Muscat flights and Mumbai-Howrah Mail train were all impacted by a series of bomb threats, leading to emergency responses
After a bomb threat on Air India Mumbai-New York diverted the flight to New Delhi on Monday morining, similar threats were received on two IndiGo planes within a span of a few minutes.
Bomb threat in Mumbai-Muscat, Mumbai-Jeddah IndiGo flights
On Monday, IndiGo flight 6E 1275 operating from Mumbai to Muscat had received a bomb threat.
IndiGo spokesperson said that as per the standard protocol, Mumbai-Muscat IndiGo flight was taken to a isolated bay, and following the standard operating procedure, mandatory security checks were promptly initiated.
Later another IndiGo flight, 6E 56 Mumbai-Jeddah aircraft received a bomb threat. It was also taken to an isolated bay.
Bomb threat on Air India Mumbai-New York flight
Earlier in the day, a Mumbai-New York Air India flight with 239 on board was diverted to New Delhi and had to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport following a security concern arising out of a bomb threat.
