At Javed Akhtar's home, Satish Kaushik enjoyed "colourful Holi." The actor's final moments will tear up.

Actor-director Satish Kaushik is no more. The veteran actor passed away on Thursday morning, March 9. Satish Kaushik was 66 years old. The news of his death has left the entire Hindi film industry. The veteran actor’s fans too are in shock. Satish Kaushik reportedly suffered a heart attack in Delhi while travelling in his car.

The actor had recently attended Javed Akhtar’s Holi party in Mumbai. Satish had shared a bunch of pictures from the Holi bash on his Instagram. He had shared photos along with the caption, “Colourful Happy Fun #Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu@babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha.. wishing Happy Holi to everyone #friendship #festival #Holi2023 #colors.”

In the photos, he can be seen posing with Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Mahima Chaudhary, and Javed Akhtar. The actor’s Instagram post received a lot of love from fans and friends.

Satish Kaushik was one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. The actor entertained many over the years. He was popularly known for his roles as Calendar in Mr India, as Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana, and as Chanu Ahmed in the British film Brick Lane. He was also a theatre actor. The actor’s most noted role was that of ‘Willy Loman’ in the play, Salesman Ramlal. It was an adaptation of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.

Apart from acting, he also directed movies in his career. The actor’s first film as a director was Sridevi’s Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. He later went on to direct Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai, Vaada, and Teree Sang among others.

He is now survived by his wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika.
