Regional Industry Conclave in Gwalior at the Initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh - The Regional Industry Conclave series, initiated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in the divisional headquarters of the state, continued with its next installment in Gwalior on Tuesday. Renowned industrial representatives and investors were invited to participate in this event to boost the industrial development of the Gwalior-Chambal region.

Preparations were complete for the "Regional Industry Conclave" to be held at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya in Gwalior. The city was also adorned to welcome the invited guests.

One of the most important aspects of the conclave was the one-on-one meetings. Leading industrialists and investors explored investment opportunities in the Gwalior-Chambal region and were open to making investments. Existing industrial units like Jamna Auto Industries, Godrej Consumer Products, Supreme and Mondelez, Sanghavi Food, and Montage Enterprises will expand their operations in Gwalior-Chambal, investing approximately Rs. 2,260 crore. This expansion is expected to create employment opportunities for over 4,500 people.

The Gwalior "Regional Industry Conclave" attracted participation from prominent figures like Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, as well as senior executives from Reliance Industries, AGI Green Pack, Accenture Industries, Prime Gold, OFV Tech, BR Group, Marble Vinyl, and Modern Techno.

Other key highlights:

  • Trade commissioners from 6 countries will also participate.
  • Senior officials will give presentations.
  • Stalls will be set up in the exhibition sector, and roundtable discussions will be held.
  • Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, and several state ministers will attend the conclave.
