PM mentions plantation done in Revati Hills area of Indore
While mentioning the record plantations in Indore under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in his Mann ki Baat broadcast on Sunday, November 24, Prime Minister Shri Modi said that more than 12 lakh trees were planted in 24 hours under the campaign in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Due to public participation in the campaign, the barren area of Revati Hills of Indore will now be transformed into a green zone.
No provision called digital arrest in the government
Prime Minister Shri Modi, while mentioning Mahesh of Bhopal as part of the initiative the youth took to make the elderly participants in the digital revolution, said that he has taught many elderly people of his locality to make payments through mobile. These elderly people had a smartphone, but no one told them its proper use. Prime Minister Shri Modi called upon the youth to come forward to save the elderly from the dangers of digital arrest. He also said that we have to make people understand repeatedly that there is no provision in the government called digital arrest. This is a complete lie, a conspiracy to trap people. It is a matter of happiness that the youth of the country are participating with full sensitivity in this work of awareness and are inspiring others too.
Vikas Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will be held in Delhi on 11-12 January
Prime Minister Shri Modi said that ‘Mann Ki Baat' is about the collective efforts of the country, achievements, capabilities of the people, dreams of youth and aspirations of the citizens of the country. He appealed to the youth to join NCC in large numbers and said that it helps build a personality for any career. Prime Minister Shri Modi informed that the Vikas Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is being organized in Delhi on 11-12 January. About two thousand youth from villages, blocks, districts and states will participate in it. Prime Minister Shri Modi said that libraries have an important role in empowering society. Youth should also take the initiative to make friends with books. He also discussed the Oral History Project.
Sensitivity towards environmental protection and cleanliness is must
Prime Minister Shri Modi, while inspiring people to be sensitive towards environmental protection, said that the sparrow (Gauraiyya) has special importance in maintaining biodiversity. Unique efforts are being made in various states for the return of this bird. By making such efforts of everyone around us, the sparrow can again become a part of our lives. Prime Minister Shri Modi also mentioned the special cleanliness campaign launched in government offices to remove old files and scraps and appealed to implement the idea of best out of waste (Kachre se Kanchan) by recycling plastic waste and things considered unusable.
