Our govt gave new flight to aspirations of my family members across country: PM Modi
Elections in Uttar Pradesh, a politically significant state with 80 Lok Sabha seats, will take place in seven stages starting on April 19 and for which about 15.34 crore people are eligible to vote
Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the people of the nation as his family members on Sunday, ahead of his first Lok Sabha election rally in Uttar Pradesh. He also said that his administration had given the people’s ambitions new life.
On Sunday, the prime minister will address a rally in Meerut, where the BJP has announced actor Arun Govil, well known for the TV series “Ramayan,” as its candidate. In addition to Govil, reports claim that the prime minister would share the dais with Jayant Chaudhary, the head of the Rashtriya Lok Dal, who just joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
In a post on X in Hindi, PM Modi said, “In the last 10 years, our government, through its work, has given a new flight to the aspirations of my family members across the country. To give further speed to this, the countrymen have once again made up their mind to go with the BJP-NDA in the Lok Sabha elections.”
