Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India’s willingness to contribute in all possible ways to facilitate an early return to peace, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said while briefing the media on PM Modi- Vladimir Zelenskyy talks.

The talks revolved around to some extent military situation and conceivable pathways to peace, Jaishankar said, adding that PM Modi and the Ukrainian President reiterated their readiness to further cooperation in upholding principles of international law, including the UN Charter such as respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty of states.

Addressing a press conference in Kyiv, he said “Both the leaders spoke about the Summit on Peace in Ukraine. The last meeting was in June of 2024. In addition to that, there are references in the joint statement to our bilateral cooperation in trade, commerce, and education,"
