Scheduled to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the eVitara represents a global model built in India for markets worldwide. The electric SUV was recently unveiled by Suzuki Motor Corporation in Milan, Italy, underscoring its international appeal and India’s role as a hub for advanced EV manufacturing.
Maruti Suzuki eVitara teaser showcases a striking design, starting with its aggressive bumper and sculpted hood that exude a sporty appeal. The front is highlighted by tri-slash LED daytime running lamps on both ends, with the Maruti Suzuki logo taking center stage. While the side and rear profiles remain undisclosed, the global model offers a glimpse of what to expect—18-inch alloy wheels, sleek C-pillar-mounted door handles, and rugged body cladding. The rear design likely features a bold lightbar-style taillamp, a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, and a sturdy bumper. With its unveiling just weeks away, excitement for this electric SUV is steadily rising.
Maruti Suzuki eVitara is poised to feature a modern dual-tone interior with integrated digital displays for infotainment and instrumentation, complemented by a flat-bottom two-spoke steering wheel and revamped AC vents. Built on a skateboard platform co-developed with Toyota, the SUV promises versatility and innovation. Global models come with two battery options—a 49kWh pack for two-wheel drive and a 61kWh pack available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive—offering a potential range of up to 600 km. While the Indian specifications are yet to be unveiled, expected features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and Level 2 ADAS for advanced safety.
Commenting on the announcement, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The eVitara stands as a testament to our steadfast dedication to sustainable mobility and technological advancement. Leveraging decades of automotive expertise, we have integrated cutting-edge electric technology with a customer-centric approach to create something truly revolutionary.
