CM Yadav Vows Women Empowerment, Announces Development for Singrauli

Singrauli: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated the government's commitment to women empowerment during a Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Utsav celebration in Chitrangi, Singrauli. To mark the occasion, Ladli Behnas will receive an additional Rs 250, taking the total benefit to Rs 1500.

Announcing a slew of development initiatives for the region, Dr. Yadav promised a 50-bed hospital for Bargawa, electrification of all hamlets in Chitrangi, and the establishment of a mining college in Singrauli. To enhance connectivity, air travel services will commence from Singrauli thrice a week, including air ambulance facilities for Ayushman cardholders.

The Chief Minister stressed on creating employment opportunities, especially for women, through industrialization. He also announced a reduction in gas refill prices for Ujjwala beneficiaries and Ladli Behnas.

The event witnessed a grand celebration with traditional welcome dances and the tying of a 101-foot-long Rakhi to the Chief Minister. Several beneficiaries received benefits under various government schemes, and a plantation drive was also undertaken.
