When the airplane door did not open for 30 minutes after landing on an IndiGo flight at Raipur Airport on Wednesday afternoon, panic broke out. Among those trapped inside was Bhupesh Baghel, the former chief minister of Chhattisgarh.
Upon landing, IndiGo flight 6E 6312 from Delhi experienced a mechanical problem that kept passengers on board for about 30 minutes. The plane made a safe landing at 2:25 pm, but disembarkation was not possible due to a door mechanism issue.
Notable passengers affected included former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, legislator Chaturi Nand, and Raipur Mayor Meenal Chaubey. Airport staff and engineers worked to resolve the issue, eventually enabling all passengers to exit safely.
