National capital Delhi witnessed another shocker after a father along with his son killed his 22-year-old daughter and his 35-year-old younger brother, by slitting open their throats, suspecting an illicit love affair between them.

The double-murder case took place in Northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area on Tuesday (April 16) around 4:30 pm.

According to DCP Northeast Delhi Dr Joy N Tirkey, Mohammad Shahid (46 years old) and his son Kudush (20 years old) killed Shaina and her paternal uncle Danish for having an “illicit affair”.

They were all residents of Ram Gali no. 5, North Ghonda which falls under Bhajanpura police station area.

Danish, hailed from Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.

Slit throats with fruit cutting knife

The accused is a fruit vendor and used a large fruit cutting knife to commit the heinous crime, police said.

The cops said Shaina’s body bore deep cut wounds on her neck. Also, her hands and feet were tied with clothes.

Accused dial police to surrender

After committing the crime, Kudush, the accused, called up the cops around 4:40 pm to surrender, police said.

Both the accused have been arrested and a case of murder has been registered by Delhi Police.
