Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has extended his greetings on the occasion of ‘World Milk Day’. He stated that Madhya Pradesh, committed to the cause of cow service, is moving ahead on the path of “prosperity through milk.” Under the Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana, those engaged in cattle rearing will become economically empowered, and the state aims to increase its contribution to the country's milk production from the current 9% to 20%.
Dr. Yadav mentioned that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has signed an agreement with the National Dairy Development Board. This will lead to the formation of milk cooperative societies in villages across the state, boosting milk production. The Sanchi brand is being actively promoted, and cowsheds as well as cattle rearers are being fully encouraged. Efforts are being made to ensure that milk-based products and medicinal items made from cow’s milk reach a larger population.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that Madhya Pradesh will become the Dairy Capital of the country. On the occasion of World Milk Day, he conveyed his best wishes to all dairy farmers.
