PM Modi launched counter-attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on a range of allegations that the senior Congress leader levelled at the ruling party on Monday during motion of thanks to the President's Address in Lok Sabha.
Taking a veiled jibe at INDIA bloc, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday that he can understand the pain of some people “who suffered a huge defeat despite spreading lies continuously”.

Modi gave a point-by-point response to Gandhi as countered the LoP’s charges.
Replying to the debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s Address in Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister said people had blessed his government for its “policy of zero-tolerance” towards corruption.
‘Violent Hindu’
PM Modi accused the Congress of coining the phrase like ‘Hindu terrorism’, adding that their ally likened this religion to dengue; country will never forgive them. It’s serious matter that conspiracy being hatched to level false allegations against Hindus. The development came a day after Rahul Gandhi on Monday said “those who call themselves Hindus talk violence… hatred… untruth 24 hours”.

Speaking on paper leak issue in the parliament, Prime Minister asserted that the government is working on war footing to apprehend the culprits and won’t spare those behind paper leaks. “Nobody will be spared. Throughout the country, arrests are being made. A law has been made on the issue,” he said.
