Amy Schneider kicked butt on Jeopardy!, and dominated on the Tournament of Champions. The 43-year-old is now getting set to compete on Jeopardy! Masters against five other champions, including Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, Andrew He, Sam Buttrey and James Holzhauer, starting on May 8. The game episodes will be aired on ABC and go on for four weeks, with a winner being announced on May 24. The winner will win a whopping $500,000.

Before she made headlines with the Jeopardy! Masters news, Amy defeated Tyler Rhode and Maureen O’Neil in the Tournament of Champions semi-finals on Nov. 9, 2022, finishing the match with $19,664. It secured her spot in the finals that began that Nov., where the first contestant to win three games earned the $250,000 grand prize. At the conclusion of Game 6 in the tournament, she won first place and the top prize of $250,000.

Amy told USA Today how she prepared for Tournament of Champions. “Mostly, it was the same stuff that I’ve been doing prior to my first run, just going through old games and looking for things I didn’t know,” she said. “I did practice writing down Final Jeopardy! answers, because the act of writing it down had thrown me off. I was just visualizing all of the scenarios that might happen.”
