Jacqueline Fernandez discusses her personal hardships amid the Sukesh Chandrashekhar controversy: "Parents must endure so much to still..."

Jacqueline Fernandez, who just lost her mother, talked candidly about her personal hardships, landing her big Hollywood debut, and how her family—especially her parents—has supported her mentally.

The actress recalls the day she was filming Kill 'Em All 2 with Jean-Claude Van Damme when her parents took a plane to Italy.

"I simply couldn't believe it.  Jean-Claude Van Damme and I were working together, doing lines.  I looked up to him.  My whole family, I believe.  This laser disc was ours.  My father was adamant that we see Jean Claude on a laser disc if we had to.  And then it cuts to me and him working on a set in Italy.  With lines, we supported one another.  When my parents arrived, they exclaimed, "We adore our daughter."  We were proud of her.  Life came full circle.  "In times like these, you feel like the hardship, the difficulties, everything was worthwhile," she said to The Hollywood Reporter India.

Speaking about her own hardships, the Kick actress, who became embroiled in public controversy because of his relationship with scammer Sukesh Chandrashekhar, stated, "What we go through as actors in the industry, our parents also go through it."  Everything is available.  Parents must endure a lot to continue to be there for you through everything.  My mother would always encourage me to pursue my goals and aspirations and was always proud of me.

The actress also talked about her late mother and expressed her gratitude for the time she had with her before she died.  "Being able to spend the last several months with her was a blessing.  I always feel like I could have done more.  What more could I have done?  Coming to terms with it takes a long time.  I don't believe that I've accepted it yet.  "She was my biggest supporter ever," Jacqueline remarked.
