Madhya Pradesh to Showcase its Charm at IATO's 39th Annual Convention
Bhopal is all set to welcome the tourism industry's elite as it hosts the 39th annual convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) from August 30th. With the theme "Resurgent India Inbound," the three-day event promises to be a platform for industry leaders to discuss strategies for boosting inbound tourism in the country.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the event, highlighting the state's commitment to promoting Madhya Pradesh as a clean, green, and safe destination. Over 1200 delegates, including tour operators, travel agents, and hoteliers, will participate in the conference.
Key Highlights of the Conference:
Inaugural Session: The opening ceremony will feature cultural performances and addresses by dignitaries including Union Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Civil Aviation, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Business Sessions: Day 2 will be dedicated to business sessions, with discussions on strategies to revive India's inbound tourism amidst challenging global conditions. Renowned experts from the tourism industry and government officials will share their insights.
Focus on Madhya Pradesh: A special session will be dedicated to showcasing Madhya Pradesh's diverse tourism offerings, including its rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
Run for Responsible Tourism: To promote sustainable tourism practices, a "Run for Responsible Tourism" will be organized on September 1st.
FAM Tours: Following the conference, familiarization tours will be conducted to key destinations like Bhopal, Bhojpur, Bhimbetka, Pachmarhi, Khajuraho, Indore, Udaygiri, and Sanchi.
