Rani Durgavati Shree Ann Promotion Scheme: ₹3,900 Per Hectare Additional Support

This amount will be provided to farmers over and above the minimum support price paid by the Federation for the purchase of Kodo-Kutki. This assistance will be transferred directly into farmers' accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) under the scheme for the year 2024-25.
Continuation of Zero-Interest Crop Loan Scheme
The cabinet decided to continue the scheme of providing short-term crop loans at zero percent interest to farmers through cooperative banks in the year 2024-25. This will ensure ongoing financial support for farmers in need.
Formation of the Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the cabinet approved the formation of the Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board. This board will focus on the education, social welfare, and security needs of talented children and youth of the Jain community, especially during the travels and Chaturmas of Jain monks. The board will have one chairman and two members, with a tenure of two years each for the Shwetambar and Digambar sects. This step is expected to accelerate the economic, social, and educational development of the Jain community by effectively implementing government welfare schemes.
Approval for the Development of Queen Durgavati Memorial and Garden
To preserve the legacy of Queen Durgavati, the cabinet approved the formation of a committee for the development of a memorial and garden on 24 acres of land on Madan Mahal hill in Jabalpur, at an estimated cost of ₹100 crores.
