India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, announced its acquisition of a 6.44 per cent equity stake in Amlgo Labs, a startup specializing in data analytics, cloud engineering, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI). The investment, totalling Rs 1.99 crore, reflects Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to bolster the quality of its upcoming vehicle models.

Amlgo Labs, with offices in Gurugram and Bengaluru in India, as well as in Delaware, United States, operates at the forefront of technological innovation in data-driven decision-making.

Maruti Suzuki’s investment in Amlgo Labs is facilitated through the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund, which aims to strategically invest in startups demonstrating high levels of technological prowess. This marks the company’s second such investment, following its previous investment in Sociograph Solutions Private Limited in June 2022.
