State government committed to honouring soldiers and farmers : CM Dr. Yadav
Bedia Mandi to be developed at a cost of Rs 65 crore

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the government is committed to honouring both the soldiers who risk their lives to protect the nation’s borders and the farmers who work tirelessly to produce food for the country. He emphasized that the state government is giving special attention to improving the facilities and welfare of the weaker and underprivileged sections of society.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program of laying foundation and inauguration of various development works at Bedia in Khargone district.
During the event, the Chief Minister dedicated and performed bhoomi pujan for 24 development projects worth Rs 266 crore, including the dedication of the Amba-Rodia Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme under the Narmada Valley Development Department. He also distributed social security pension approval certificates to sickle cell patients and extended various scheme benefits to the beneficiaries.
India advancing steadily under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is continuously progressing and earning recognition on the global stage. He emphasized that the government is dedicated to transforming the lives of farmers, women, the poor and the youth to make them prosperous. Referring to the Nimar region, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted that the water of Maa Narmada is now reaching farmlands, leading to flourishing crops. He also mentioned that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, farmers are receiving the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav proudly stated that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to provide Rs 2,600 per quintal for wheat procurement. The state government is actively promoting agriculture and working to develop farmers as entrepreneurs. A special campaign is underway to produce thread from cotton, manufacture cloth, and establish readymade garment factories within the state. The Chief Minister further added that the government is also focusing on solar energy. Farmers will receive subsidized solar panel connections, enabling them to increase their income by selling surplus electricity to the state government. Additionally, arrangements have been made to procure moong and urad at the minimum support price (MSP). Efforts are also being intensified to boost milk production. Currently, Madhya Pradesh contributes 9 percent to the country’s milk production, with a target of increasing it to 20 percent. Farmers will receive up to 25 percent subsidy for rearing cows and buffaloes. Due to the combined efforts of the state government, Madhya Pradesh’s per capita income has seen a significant rise—from Rs 11,000 earlier to Rs 1.52 lakh now.
Ladli Behnas will get monthly assistance of Rs 1500 from Diwali
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that the state government will provide an additional Rs 250 to Ladli Behnas on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Starting from Diwali in October, Ladli Behnas will regularly receive Rs 1,500 per month, and this amount will gradually be increased to Rs 3,000 per month. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an air ambulance facility has also been made available to save the lives of poor and needy patients. He urged all eligible individuals to get their Ayushman Cards made, ensuring access to quality treatment at reputed hospitals in major cities during serious illnesses. He also mentioned that the state government arranges transportation by plane or helicopter for patients when necessary. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav further added that the Rah-Veer Yojana has been implemented to encourage people to help accident victims. Under this scheme, any person who takes an injured road accident victim to the hospital and helps save their life will be rewarded with Rs 25,000 by the state government.
2 lakh government posts to become vacant following promotions
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has resolved the long-pending issue of promotions for government servants, which had been stalled for the past nine years. With this decision, the path for the promotion of employees from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and General categories has now been cleared. As a result of these promotions, around 2 lakh posts will become vacant, creating new opportunities for recruitment. The Chief Minister also announced that the state government will ensure 33 percent reservation for women in government job recruitments. Additionally, he affirmed that in the future, 33 percent reservation will also be provided to women in both the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha.
Ram Path Gaman Marg to be developed at sites travelled by Lord Rama in Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has prohibited the sale of liquor at 19 religious places across Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, the open sale of meat has been banned. Geeta Bhawans will be constructed in urban areas. He further announced that the Ram Path Gaman Marg will be developed at locations in the state associated with the journey of Lord Rama. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also informed that a Cabinet meeting will be held in Gwalior to mark the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Highlighting the government’s focus on education, he mentioned that Sandipani Schools are being developed to provide quality education on par with private institutions. Additionally, the state government will soon launch a bus service to every village, ensuring improved transportation facilities for rural residents.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that Rs 65 crore will be allocated for the development of Bediyan Mirch Mandi. Similarly, a bridge will be constructed on the Khangaon–Khedi Khurd road at a cost of Rs 5 crore, while another bridge will be built over the Sidkui River on the Banswa–Ghosla road at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Additionally, Rs 38 crore will be provided for the construction of the Bhikangaon–Jhirnya road, and Rs 21 crore has been sanctioned for the development of bypass roads in Bediyan and Baswa . Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced that the Primary Health Center in Bediyan will be upgraded to a Community Health Center, and a 100-bed hospital will be constructed in Barwah to enhance healthcare facilities in the region.
After the programme, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a mango sapling under the initiative ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, delivering a strong message of environmental conservation. MP Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil, MLA Shri Sachin Birla, Shri Rajkumar Mev, Shri Balkrishna Patidar, Smt. Chhaya More, District Panchayat President Smt. Anu Bai Tanwar, Vice President Shri Bapu Singh Parihar, along with other public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens, were present on the occasion.
