How Clare Crawley Will Discuss The Bachelorette With Her Daughter Rowen
For Clare Crawley, The Bachelorette did not prove to be the perfect place to fall in love.
The Bachelorette did not turn out to be the ideal setting for Clare Crawley's romantic relationship.
She believes she was there for the right reasons, even if it turned out that her future spouse wasn't there—nor was he giving out roses on The Bachelor, The Bachelor Winter Games, or the Paradise beaches in Mexico.
And one day, she intends to convey that lesson to Rowen, the 9-month-old daughter of her and husband Ryan Dawkins.
"I want to always be the example of real and Mom was trying her best," the hairstylist, who was born in Sacramento, California, said in an exclusive interview with E! News. "My mother was exposing herself. Mom had confidence in herself. Mom was doing what she felt. And whether it's a reality show or anything else in life, I want to set an example for Rowen by doing what she wants to do and following her heart."
Even while her path was somewhat dramatic at times, it ultimately brought Clare to Ryan, the CEO of Mascot Sports, who was, as she previously told E!, "in my backyard the whole time."
Clare added that she was sure she will find her happily ever after even in the most trying circumstances.
"I know that sounds crazy coming from a 43-year-old woman who got married when I was 41," she said. "So, I don't know what in my soul has always felt this, but I always believed deep in my heart that it was all going to happen for me, even when there was moments of doubt, like, 'When is it going to happen?'"
When she first met the Ironman competitor, she received her response.
