Bhopal, 17 November, 2023: To offer something new to the food lovers of Bhopal, Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal is hosting a Sadda Pind – Flavours Of Punjab Food Festival with dishes from the land of five rivers- Punjab- from 17 to 27th November.

The undergoing Punjabi Food festival is offering connoisseurs a wide range of Punjabi taste with varieties of dishes from the north. The menu of this 10-day food festival has a wide variety of classical as well as traditional Punjabi cuisines. The Punjabi feast is taking food lovers to the heavenly journey from starters through main course and desserts to the nostalgia of rich north cuisine. The elaborate menu includes Kebabs, Tikkas, and traditional Sarso da Saag and Makke di Roti.

Hotel’s General Manager Rakesh Upadhyay while addressing a press conference here today said “When it comes to North Indian food, the flavor one recalls is Punjabi. We have a large Punjabi community here in Bhopal and what else could be a better occasion to cherish the beauty of rich Punjabi culture with them. Keeping the recipes traditional and authentic, we have used a lot of spices in the cooking.”

Hotel’s Executive Chef Amol Patil said “For the ‘Pet Pujaris’ of the city we are offering unending Tadkedar starters like Dahi Aur Mewe Ke Kebab, Macchi Amritsari, Tandoori Kukkad, Ajwain Macchi, Kathal Ka Tikka, Kali Mirch Ka Machhi Tikka and much more. The Chhole Masala, Khumb Hara Pyaaz, Kadi Pakoda, Paneer Makkhan Wala, Matar Methi Malai and Sarso Da Saag, Langar Wali Daal are the vegetarian delicacies and Railway Kukkad Curry, Meat Shahi Patiyala, Munge Wala Kukkad, Makhhani Chooze, Murg Masaledar Machhi, and Chicken and Mutton Biriyani are among the non-vegetarians. There is a wide selection of desserts like Badam Kheer, Gajar Ka Haluwa, Zafrani Firni, Kesri Kheer, and Matka Malai Lassi etc”.

Chef Amol further said that  "We have also set up multiple authentic live counters such Parathe wali galli, Bhatti da murgh, Kheema kaleji, Chole bhature, Amritsari chole kulche, Kadhi chawal and rajma chawal, Sarson da saag-makki di roti, Patiala lassi, chaat and jalebi-doodh for the food lovers."
